Here's a blurry view (sorry about that) of USU Professor David Bell making a presentation to the City Council this evening with three proposals for beautifying the crescent at the intersection of the two state highways coming into LaVerkin (which becomes the entry to the Zion Canyon corridor). Very exciting!
We also discussed the progress being made on the water line replacement project, which should be wrapping up in the next couple weeks. A monthly financial report was given to us by the City Treasurer, which shows that with one month to go in the current budget year we are on track to have a balanced budget with more left over to restore our reserves than we had hoped for. I was quite happy to see this.
When I got home, we had a surprise visit from Jacob and Hilary, very nice!
