A Question ... And A Treat

Question for today, from reading in Romans 7 and Alma 63 ...

"But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the alaw sin was dead."

                                   -- Romans 7:8

What does concupiscence mean in the context of this verse?  The best I can come up with doing various searches is idolatry.  Would some of you dear readers like to help me understand this?
