Memorial Day - We Shall Never Forget

Thank you to my friend and former college roommate Craig Oakford for posting this reflective memorial. It is certainly worth the six minutes of pondering of the collective sacrifices that have been made by so many to give us what we enjoy today.

It was a wonderful day with grandchildren, nephews, niece, and more! Willyne's brisket, potato salad, special beans, double frosting German chocolate cake, and lemonade didn't hurt either. I enjoyed my nap outside. I got lots of grandchild hugs. It was a great day.

By evening, just Doug Jr was left with Willyne and I. We watched the movie "The Queen" together which we enjoyed, and then I finished my day with my friend Terreeeblay ... http://terreeeblay.blogspot.com/2011/05/114.html
