Dinner and a Show

I improved a little more today, enough that about 4 pm I asked Willyne if she was game for a spontaneous evening with me.  Being the wonderful wife she is, she said yes!

We had dinner at Chuck-a-Rama.  May not sound like a romantic Christmas restaurant, but you would be surprised.  We were.  They had coconut shrimp with orange marmalade dip, as good as you've had anywhere, seafood Newburg we both enjoyed, and even clam chowder that surprised us.  No, it's not Legal's.  But it was very good!  It was also quiet and a nice atmosphere. 

On our way to the show, we stopped and picked up a few items at Wal Mart.

So what was the show, you ask?  Our favorite music synchronized Christmas light display, at 1192 South 840 West in Hurricane.  Here's a sample for those of you that are out of town and want a taste of home this Christmas ...
